Bernice Wagner passed away June 9th 2016 at the age of 98. A funeral service is planned at Newell-Hoerling's Mortuary on Saturday, June 18th at 1pm. Bernice was born in Centralia and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Centralia High School and Centralia Community College. She married Leonard Wagner in 1944 and after living in Vancouver and Olympia briefly, they returned to Centralia and built a home next to her parents on Reynolds Ave. She was a homemaker who was a longtime member of Eastern Star, P.E.O. and Ladies of the Round Table. She is survived by her daughters; Barbara Larson (Paul) and Mary Ellen Willemsen (Steve); her grandchildren Jennifer Larson, Richard Larson, Kathryn Grieb, and Kristen Larson, and two Great grandchildren; Kadin Herd and Lillian Alston. She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Wagner. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Assured Hospice Centralia. The family of Bernice Wagner wishes to thank the staff at Sharon Care Center and Elaine Irwin of Assured Hospice Centralia for all of the care and compassion shown to our mother.
