Agatha Schmitt Brefeld Frost, of Chehalis, WA, passed away on February 1, 2015 after a short illness. She was born April 11, 1924 in Johnsburg, IL the daughter of Matt N and Eleanor (Schaefer) Schmitt. She married Lewis Brefeld of McHenry, Il in 1944. After living in the McHenry, IL area for many years, the family moved to Chehalis, Washington in 1964 to be close to other family members who lived in the area. She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Brefeld, her husband Eugene Frost and her grandson Paul Brefeld. She is survived by her daughter Valerie Voght, sons Tom Brefeld, Charlie (Pat) Brefeld, Steve (Laurie) Brefeld and Peter (Roseanne) Brefeld. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Agatha lived a very active life in Chehalis. She was active with the Eagles, belonged to several camping organizations and loved traveling around the country. A memorial will take place on February 17th at 11 a.m. at. St Joseph Catholic Church where Agatha was a member for over 50 years. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Agatha's life. Interment will follow the service at Claquato Cemetary. A reception will be held at St Joseph Catholic Church following the interment.
