Stephen Rodney Althauser

Centralia resident Stephen Rodney Althauser, age 92, passed away on  November 28, 2018 at Providence Centralia Hospital. 
  
He was born on February 10, 1926 to Andrew and Dora (Ames) Althauser in Centralia Washington. He attended school at Centralia High School and attended Centralia Junior College for 1 year. Stephen worked as a Technician for Pacific Northwest Bell and US West. On November 2, 1947 he married Claremay Riley at the Centralia Methodist Church.

Stephen is survived by his loving spouse of 71 years; Claremay Althauser, his sons; Stephen R Althauser, Jr. of Lacey, WA, Mark Andrew Althauser, Thomas Charles Althauser, Christopher Gordon Althauser, Bradley J Althauser, Donald R Althauser, daughter; Susan C Roberts, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchildren. 
  
He was preceded in death by father; Andrew Althauser, and mother; Dora Grace Althauser.
       
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Centralia First United Methodist Church with Pastor Tom Peterson officiating, followed by a Graveside Committal at Mountain View Cemetery, and then a Reception at the Centralia First United Methodist Church.
