Merlin Lloyd Willard, age 94, passed away at his home in Centralia on June 14, 2018. No services are scheduled at this time.
Merlin was born on April 4, 1924 to Albert and Carrie Willard in Chewelah Washington. He graduated high school, joined the Army and fought in WWII. Merlin got married for a second time to Charmaine D. Fernandes on March 17, 1996 and had two children.
Merlin was a carpenter by trade. He worked for King County Metro Transit and was a cabinet maker as well. He was a proud veteran and made donations to the Disabled Veterans and The March of Dimes.
Merlin is survived by his children; Deborah Guttery, Matthew (Donna) Willard, and Louise Dessert, his grandchildren; Kenneth (Melissa) Willard, Blaine Willard, and Charmaine (Rudy) Nixon, as well as many Greatgrandchildren.
He is preceded in Death by his wife Charmaine D. Fernandes and grandson Kelly Porter Willard.

Merlin will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Disabled Veterans and the March of Dimes.
