Steve J Baxter

Steve J. Baxter, 68, of Centralia, Wash., passed away peacefully and surrounded by family at University of Washington Medical Center (Montlake) in Seattle, Wash., Sunday, January 1, 2023. 

He was born September 17, 1954, in Chehalis, Wash., to Ed and Charlie (Sitton) Baxter. He married his love, Wendy Bentley, November 26, 1983, in the neighboring city of Centralia.

Steve was a loving son, husband, and father. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, guns, riding motorcycles, collecting coins, gardening, helping others, and going to car shows. He helped his son restore his 1976 Ford  F-150 truck.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Charlie; and his sister Krisann Baxter.

He is loved and missed by his wife, Wendy; son, Brad; and brothers, Chuck and Tim Baxter.

A celebration of Steve's life will begin at 12 PM Sunday, February 12, 2023, at McFiler's Theater at 558 N Market Blvd., Chehalis. This will be a potluck. Please bring a favorite dish and a story to share!
