Welcome to the memorial page for

Simeon Reynolds

July 26, 1974 ~ September 14, 2016 (age 42) 42 Years Old

Simeon “Si” Felix Reynolds passed away on September 14, 2016 in Chehalis, WA.  He was 42 years old.  Si was born on July 26, 1974 in Pullman, WA.  He was raised in Elma, WA and spent most of his life there.

Si graduated from Elma High School in 1992.  He began working in the construction field while still in high school, became self-employed at a young age, and spent the rest of his life mastering his trade.  He was a skilled tradesman specializing in tile setting, flooring, and finish construction.  Si operated his own business, Reynolds Construction Inc., and performed residential and commercial work throughout western Washington.

Si is survived by his three daughters Alyx Reynolds, Morgann Reynolds, and Skylar Reynolds of Spanaway, WA; two sons Zachary Reynolds and Ethan Reynolds of Elma, WA; brothers Micah Reynolds of Ketchikan, AK, Jonathan Reynolds of Montesano, WA, David Reynolds of Ketchikan, AK, and Joshua Reynolds of Chehalis, WA; girlfriend Jenny Minkoff; father Ron (and Linda) Reynolds; mother Catherine; grandparents Tom Reed and Laura Reynolds, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Above all things, Si enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He loved being a father and this was apparent by how deeply his children loved him.  Si shared a bond with his brothers that is unmatched by any other, as they relied upon each other throughout their lives.  Si was proud to be part of a large family.  He was passionate about life and his happiest moments were the times when the entire family could come together.

Si had a true gift for understanding and communicating with people.  Sometimes a conversation with Si could last for hours, and it was obvious that he was truly listening to you.  His advice or input made you realize that he had spent time on his own thinking about you, considering how he might help you understand things in a different light.  We all came to rely upon Si in some way, because simply having him around made life a little easier.

A memorial service and open reception will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 22 at the Northwest Life Center in Elma, WA.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the following charity fund that will be provided directly to Si’s five children: www.YouCaring.com/HelpReynoldsKids
