Richard (Dick) Wayne Greear, age 87, passed away in Winlock at the home of his Daughter (Sherrie), on June 10th 2017. He was under Hospice Care with Assured Home Health and Hospice.

Richard was born to Wesley and Ellen Greear on July 9, 1929 in Onalaska Wa.  This is also where he attended school and played various sports with baseball being his favorite. He then worked running heavy equipment at U.S. Plywood, helped to build the Mayfield Dam and work for many years at WIDO mine in Centralia. He ended his career at age 80 working for Breen still operating his CAT.

On August 21, 1950 he married the love of his life Helen Elizabeth Adkins at the Mossyrock Assembly of God Church where they attended for the next 60 years. They lived in Mossyrock where they had two children, Linda Marie Noble (Ray) and Sherrie Annette Hail-Shea (Roger).

Richard loved hunting, spending time outdoors, gardening, riding motorcycles (his beloved Harley) and mostly running his CAT. He always felt that he hadn't worked a day in his life. That was how much he loved his job. He ran an at home business with his wife Helen called Koncrete Kuties where they sold concrete lawn ornaments and fountains while meeting people from all walks of life and all areas.

Richard had 7 Grandchildren, Shad Hail (Lauren), Trevor Hail, Tiffany Hail, Angie Gaffney, Missy Garrity (Charlie) , Zechariah Hail (Katrina) and Jeffrey Noble (MacKenzie) as well as 12 Great Grandchildren; Max, Ivy, Penny, Gracelynn, Addilee, Elias, Abygail, Gabriel, Oliver, Eoghan, Gavin and Dean. He always loved spending time with his Grandchildren and then his Great Grandchildren. He was known as 'Papa' to all of them.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and Sisters, Marion Spaller, Brownie (Pearl) Treichel, Clarice Greear and Brothers, Bud (Wesley Greear), Jack Greear, Edwin Greear, Robert Greear , Grandaughter Christina Rae Hail and Son-inlaw Ray Noble.
