Frank was born to Francis and Agnes (Lund) Fosnacht in Black Diamond WA, on June 11, 1931, and peacefully passed away on March 29, 2018, at the age of 86.
He lived in Rochester WA most of his life and graduated from Rochester High School. in 1949.
Frank joined the U.S. Navy in 1951 and served as an electronics technician during the Korean War until 1955.
In 1956 he married his first wife and they had four children; Michael, Kimball, Jodi, and Andrew.
In 1973 he purchased C. C. Jones' Lumber Company on 173rd Avenue, then moved the company to its current location on Sargent Road in Rochester, renaming it Rochester Lumber. He sold the company to his children in 1997 when he retired.
Frank married Rebecca “Becky” Coverdell in 1999. They became world travelers, fishing and golfing wherever they could. Spending time with their grandchildren, However, was the highlight of their lives. Watching their grandchildren’s participation in baseball, soccer, football, wrestling, track, and cheerleading occupied much of their spare time.
Frank was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Centralia.
He is survived by his spouse Becky, two sons; Michael Fosnacht and Kimball Fosnacht (Kellie), two daughters; Jodi Fosnacht Valenza (Jeff) and Sueann Coverdell Hopkins (Dave), daughter in law; Kerri Fosnacht (Andrew), 23 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his brother, Fred Fosnacht (Michele), sister Agnes Cross (Al), niece Mary Webb, and several cousins.
Preceding Frank in death was his youngest son Andrew “Andy” Fosnacht, his sister Martha Fosnacht Vidrine, and step-daughter Joy Coverdell Stevens.
There will be a Graveside Service on Friday, April 6th, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Grand Mound Cemetery followed by a reception at Swede Hall in Rochester at 3:00 p.m.
The family would like to give special thanks to the owner and staff of My Blue Heaven Adult Family Home in Centralia as well as Assured Home Health Hospice for the loving care they gave to Frank.
