Edna Lorene Woodman, age 90, passed away at Providence Hospital in Centralia, Washington on December 22, 2017. Her family wishes to thank the amazing staff at Cooks Hill Manor for their friendship and care during the five and a half years she lived with them as a resident at their facility.

Lorene was born on February 3, 1927 to Harmon Price Sheeler and Leta Mae Sheeler in Jennings Oklahoma. She was the fourth born child of eleven siblings.

During her life, Lorene worked at Tinker Field during World War II building machine guns; waitressed in Oklahoma, California, Washington, and Texas; worked for the US postal service as a mail carrier; as well as owned and operated a flea market/tool shop in Texas. She loved to travel and traveled most of the 48 states alone in her motor home. She enjoyed meeting people, cooking, living in the country and on the water, bird watching, gardening, fishing, and raising wild game birds. She had a generous spirit, never met a person she didn't like, and never lived at a place she didn't make a home. She used to say that there is always something to like about everyone.

Lorene is survived by her siblings Joan Schoenecke, Phyllis Soldano, Gloria Allen; grandchildren, Geina Studeman (Kasey), Carolyn Fuentes (Rafael); great grandchildren Sarah, Erika, Kelsey, Katrina, Rafael; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
